    Well they never said they would fight anyone at any weight for any amount of money.


    That's a lot of effort for the OP to go to and fair play for having the ***** to put it out there like that. Decent prediction but like many, didn't factor in or quite realise just how weak Bute's chin is. Nobody gets them right every time if they make predictions on competitive match ups.

    You know Ward demands 2+ mill for every fight right? Rationalize it any way you want, Ward needs to come back to regain some popularity before a PPV can be set up. HBO will not pay 4-5M for a single non-PPV fight... the 3M spent on the E-Rod fight (which was the only fight on the card IIRC) will go up quite a bit for a Golovkin fight.

    I don't feel bad at all about the prediction, half the boxing world had it as Bute UD... the TKO was just wishful thinking.
