    1) Jabs that don't land don't score. I don't think Froch truly landed many jabs in the 1st.

    2) Body punches exist in boxing. (and deserve equal footing with head shots in scoring)

    3) Kessler's couple of flush left hooks alone canceled out Froch's few connected jabs.

    Froch has begun to shine in the 2nd and 3rd, however.
