couple rounds he got a bit lazy with the jab and kessler counted well off it

Only his fans some how are, Froch knows it was a close fight.

 

Froch's jabs did it for him in 1-3 and when kessler got close and they started to exchange blows, Kessler may have hit more, but obviously Froch hit harder, or has a better chin.

Great fight. Kessler did look to have the better skills, but Froch's will and condition was better.

Not sure where any of them go from here. Don't fancy a rematch with Ward.

Given Froch is almost 36, Kessler 50 fights, who else do they really want. Maybe Hopkins.

Does anyone think ward will fight outside of his home country cause I think there's more chance of calzaghe coming out of retirement to fight froch than ward fighting anywhere but the states and I think there's zero chance of calzaghe coming back

Was torn on round 4 though so possibly 116-112.

 

How can you not be romantic about boxing?

Badly hurt, fighting for his legacy, sucks it up and has Kessler on the ropes when the ref stops the fight. Whats he do? Reaches out a "atta boy" to Kessler while the crowd reaches a crescendo. Anyone who wants to trash go ahead, but it will never be so sweet for Froch.
