Have you seen DM Fight or Froch for that matter?
DM is by no means slow, in fact im pretty ceirtan hes quicker than Froch.

Add to that hes naturally much bigger, had a ramrod jab and was a relentless pressure fighter with proper punching technique and a high guard (lacking some head movement but oh well)

He would KILL Froch, it would not even be close.
If Froch couldn't handle Ward on the inside how do you think he would last vs someone with REAL LHW power ripping him on the inside?

Completely different class of fighter, DM might have been a step below a prime RJJ but it was not by far... Froch is leagues below.

Michalczewski beat Hill who was a long running world champ WBA and IBF, beat Rocchigiani who was WBC champ Wrongly stripped, then beat a load of contenders. Froch hasnt beaten any top SMWs

You speak the truth good sir.... and you are from England... im impressed :)
Not that i have anything against English but that you so easily pick DM against Froch (you are absolutely correct btw)

And i actually like Froch a lot.

DM destroys Froch. The guy fought like a buzz saw and was big enough to fight at cruiser. The guy was a pressure fighter that would actually get stronger as the fight went later. He wrecked his career with a wild life style, but then again maybe that life stye enabled him to have that viscious and confident attitude in the ring.

DM vs Ward would be good. I'd favor DM right now just because he'd love to fight on the inside, didn't get tired or discouraged, and Ward doesn't seem to have to power to keep him off after 8 rounds. That and he'd been every bit as physically strong as Ward.

This, its 1 of the biggest strengths of a prime DM... even when a fight would be sorta close after 6 or 7, DM would just grow stronger and stronger and by the last 3 rounds people were just struggeling to survive against that vicious body attack and shots upstairs.

DM gets crazy underrated on this board due to his fight vs RJJ never coming off which was the fault of both btw.

RJJ is greater but DM was a elite no doubt about it.
Anyone have a idea about that highlight vid on youtube from DM that showcases his jab in particular?
Its a thing of beauty, straight, quick, and tons of power.

    Figured it out.

Check the hooks after 50 seconds especially, DM was a very bad man.

(and people claim i dont like pressure fighters LOL)

Credit where it is due. Michalczewski was the man at LHW and fought all comers, except for Jones who wouldnt face him.
I like Froch but it cant be denied that he is limited with a low workrate. Dariusz jab would have been too big a factor for Froch in my opinion, and thats before Dariusz opening up.

Yeah i really can't see anything that Froch does that would trouble Dariusz, in his prime he had a absolute granite chin, relentless work rate/pressure and a ramrod jab.
Would be entertaining as long as it would last though.

I really feel thats the 1 fight that was missed during the RJJ era...
You would have to favour RJJ simply due to him being super human.

But i do feel that DM could have made for some dicey moments cause he would be pressuring RJJ for all 12 and not go anywhere.

Dariusz wins comfortably(possibly by stoppage at some point) in a brutal fight.

Too educated offensively for a slower less accurate, lighter-punching fighter who will be right there to hit.

I would have favoured prime Dariusz over Roy. We will never know how good Roy really was as we know he was a cheat.

I have seen many of his fights. About 15 or so, I have several on tape. Dm is now and always has been over rated. Unlike a poster said his comp wasn't very strong. Quick stoppages judges overturning outcome, refusing to defend against second tier contenders. I can't recall another fighter being stripped so often.
