No, he is just a moron. We will never know how good jones is because he didn't fight dm who lost to guys that jones dominated.
DM takes it, probably along the lines of 117-111. Froch fought even with a slightly past it Kessler. DM was basically a bigger, stronger, more varied version of Kessler. I can't imagine Froch making it particularly close.
I love Froch but DM takes this by a relatively clear decision. Froch would have his moments throughout, it's too lazy to say that DM is just a bigger Abraham so Froch would beat him. His jab would be key in this one, and his typical robotic ''European-ness'' wouldn't be a negative factor for him in this one, compared to (say) Roy Jones or James Toney.
A bigger Abraham? who said that... DM fought nothing like Abraham. I think a previous poster said a bigger version of Kessler, i can semi see that. DM was a pressure fighter though where Kessler is more of a boxer puncher. I honestly doubt Froch would see the final bell, DM was a HUGE LHW that was able to fight at cruiser np.
Fair enough on DM being more of a pressure fighter, but my intent was that he was fairly straightforward with a good jab and an orthodox punching style. That said, he was more aggressive and more varied than Kessler, and while not quite as quick, a lot bigger and stronger.
Fights like Double A atsch Here is footage of the Tiger [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NS7QHCLFuKY&feature=fvsr[/ame]
Doesn't get discouraged or give up?? Watch his fight against Hall or Gonzalez. He kept turning his back every time Hall would land to his body, then have the ref step in and stop Hall from hitting him. Gonzalez beat him silly. I agree about his strength though. He was a strong MF. Keith
