Obviously Roy Jones Jr is better overall but was Roy all that at 168? And could he beat the one and only Carl “The Cobra” Froch who, in case you didn’t know, knocked out George Groves infront of 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium?

Did Roy ever fight professionally at such a low weight?

Both of these guys would have to cut off a limb to make 145.

Roy wins a wide UD at 168, where the matchup should take place

Sorry guys I made a mistake. For some reason I thought 145 was supermiddle weight.

Roy Jones Jr by 12-0 schooling the speed difference would be a crime.

Roy Jones UD Carl Froch by around the margin of 9 - 3 in rounds.

Roy was arguably the greatest ever Super-Middle. Carl was very good but Roy just hit another level and would outspeed and outgun Carl. Froch was tough enough to give it a go and last the distance.

    ??????

168 was Roy Jones best weight. He wins an easy decision.

No decision here. Jones would have stopped Froch at 168.

Aye, you have to think that Jones would either knock him out or Froch would be stopped or pulled out after a few one sided rounds ala Clinton Woods. Froch had a very good but not iron chin, and poor defensive reflexes and technique. Not great at seeing fast punches coming, and that's bad news for anybody against Jones, especially as he could hit like a truck below 175 on top of his other special qualities.

I don’t think Jones would show the level of respect that he showed someone like Mike McCallum and just box his way to a clear decision, which he could do. I think he would build up the punishment and stop Froch.

Froch was very good with a fine chin, but was a wee bit too slow. Jones by shutout.
