Jones won,t fight toe to toe... He would stay at mid range, and toy with Froch, using his speed to hit him at will... And guess what, hen Jones lands power shots on Froch, he hurts him !

Froch wont last longer than 6 , let alone 12 .

Hopkins had a lot of amateur fights, but it was as a kid before he went to prison. Certainly not the type of amateur experience Roy had, but he was a Golden Glove winner as a kid.

 

Are people forgeting that Roy has knocked out fighters that went 12 rounds with P4P Great punchers Benn and Jackson?

Carl has fought no one with Roy's speed and power... Roy knocked out fighters with shots they didin't see coming... Carl has a very weak defense, and would have eaten plenty of crisp Jones power shots. Its not just a given that he can go 12 just because he had an iron chin.. Roy beat fighters to the body as well wearing them down, there are plenty of ways to stop a fighter, body shots, cuts, injuries caused by punches ect...

This is a no brainer for me.

 

Groves was countering the hell out of Carl after he would miss with a shot, imagine prime Jones???

We are comparing fighters on 2 different levels... Froch has a punchers chance, a slim one.

 

I wouldn't have been surprised if Jones stopped him. Froch has a good chin, but he's no Jake LaMotta, and although his skills/defense are better than a lot of people give him credit for, he's still pretty hittable and slow.

I'd still go with a wide decision win for Jones.
