RJJ Wins via 12 rd UD. He wins like 11-1 or something. Froch picks up one of the last rounds when he goes into desperation mode and RJJ starts to get tired.

RJJ had super-human skills and I would pick him over any SMW in history. However, I will give Froch some credit and that chin is just unreal. Thats why I see it going the distance.

    A pick em?

Del Valle was a southpaw, who'd sparred Roy for three years, and that was at 175.

We're talking about Roy at 25-26, from 94/95 when he was at 168.

Carl wouldn't have layed a glove on him.

It would have been a drag race between a Lamborghini Murcielago, and a Volkswagen Beetle.

I have really grown to respect Froch over the years, but stylistically speaking this would be a nightmare matchup. Junior is too fast and his reflexes were way too good in his prime. Easy UD for Roy.

What are you going on about?
Im not comparing fighting styles or skills of Froch and Del Valle, im just noting how Jones reacted when Del Valle landed, then just imagine if Froch landed :admin.
Just watch Jones against Toney. They both look slow and although not as slow as Froch, Froch could possibly time punches and have success.
Jones did not have much experience at SMW and we have to remember that Froch is past best now and has been for a while in my opinion.
Its a tough pick em fight, where I think Froch would be behind at half way, but claw rounds back and come on strong.

Roy would beat him now, never mind in his prime.

There are some factors which I didnt consider.
The SMW scene in Europe has mostly been tougher than the SMW scene in America.
Jones didnt fight Eubank, Calzaghe, Benn, Collins, Ottke at SMW.
Where would the fight be taking place?
If the fight was in the UK, I would heavily favour Froch

I should have taken all of this into account before my first post on this thread

There would be no difference if they fought on the ****ing moon.
Prime by prime Froch isnt touching Roy, on technical and tactical part he can hold Jones jockstrap.
He has a punch but whats the use of it if you cant land it.
I love Froch and his no prisoners attitude but he wouldnt be able to do nothing against Roy even if they fought in Frochs house.

Tell me which American/American based SMWs or Canadian or Canadian based SMWs have won big fights in Europe at SMW and who against. I doubt there are many. Its much tougher in this division in Europe and it was when Roy was active.
Froch has the European experience and I never considered any of this when first posting.
So this is why I would favour Froch in Europe

You are born with a chin
You are either "chinny" or you're not
Roy was born with a weak chin that Froch could tap 8th-9th round
I was never sold on RJJ
