    What do you mean nobody?

Carl's got a good chin, but he he's not a T1000 made of steel.

Roy could have dropped him, no doubt.

Do you think that someone who could knock out a 180 plus guy, with a lead uppercut, wouldn't have been capable of knocking out Carl?

Listen, mental strength and heart etc, cannot overcome HUGE disadvantages in speed and skill.

    It isn't enough.

all it takes is one good shot to get Jones out of there because....... he had a glass chin. that doesn't apply to fighters with good to great chins. so you're just doing what you always do here. just putting spin to lesson the facts about your hero.

    boring.

Jones was the huge favorite for a reason. he had an actual Amateur career, unlike the prison fights that Hopkins had.

he lost that fight to Mercado but the IBF (an American organization) judges made sure Bernard got a gift with the draw.

the fight is on YT. you can watch it when ever you like. :good

Hopkins of a few years ago would beat Froch, no doubt. but not nowadays.

i realise that Jones would have flew around the ring firing bolts of lighting from his nostrils while any fighter in history would have covered up to protect themselves from the storm of Roy Jones JR.

have you watched many fantasy films, Loudon???

Froch has been hit with bombs many times in his career without even going down. he's only been down twice in his career.

i think it's fair to say we know the quality of Froch here, it's Jones that we don't know about because he was on the juice and ducked everyone. so it's all about fantasy where he's concerned. :deal

You have just highlighted your complete lack of knowledge, with the above statement.

    It's ridiculous.

Roy had a glass chin, yet he went through four divisions, beating better fighters than Carl, before getting knocked out in his 51st fight.

Yet all it took was one shot?

If only Roy's opponents had've had your knowledge.

    Ha!

What do you class as proven?

    Define it.

Hill and Griffin had proven they were very good fighters.

Griffin beat Toney and caused Roy problems in their first fight.

Hill was proven, and Roy was the only guy to ever stop him in 57 fights.

They both weighed 180 plus, and were taken out by single shots.

how does a Light middleweight with glass chin go up to light heavy weight and dominate? then HW to wn a title too?
A - he had not a glass chin.

yet cowardzaghe fans are happy to believe joe cal has an iron chin when getting floored for 40somethings in the divison above his.

It's abundantly clear, that you have never watched Roy fight in his prime.

Because if you had've done, you wouldn't be writing embarrassing, illogical nonsense.

There are very few fighters in the history of boxing that had the combination of speed, power that a prime Roy Jones had.

An angry Roy jones such as the one that beat Montel Griffin will EASILY destroy Froch. Carl is wide open and Jones wouldn't have problem catching him.

George Groves hurt Carl several times during their last fight and Groves has less than 10 percent of Roy's tallent.
