Carl Froch vs. Sergey Kovalev, who you got?

Kovalev overrated power against one of the best chins in boxing?? KOV fans boys need to pipe down.

Am not a froch fan but he is no knock over job for anyone from 168-175lbs.

 

People who know **** about boxing. Need some banning orders on here must be smoking something strong.

 

Some here actually voted Froch

 

Froch IMO is a fighter who overachieved in his career. He didn't have the greatest of skillsets but he had a granite chin, good power and a champion's heart.

With all that being said, I can't see him beating Kovalev who I believe is just too strong and fundamentally sound for someone like Carl to deal with.

It would be an interesting fight, especially if it was able to get into the later rounds as Kovalev has exhibited some stamina issues in the late stages of fights whereas Carl tends to come on strong in the championship rounds. Still, I'd favor Kovalev by either mid round stoppage or unanimous decision.

froch mentioned that LHWs were bigger than him and didnt seem to want to venture there.
I think prime Froch may have lasted a while. When I say prime Froch I mean the version before Pascal, but Froch later in his career I think would get beaten earlier.
I guess Kovalev by KO somewhere in the middle rounds against prime Froch, and Kovalev in the earlier rounds against later in career Froch.
Different fight at SMW but at LHW, I would favour Kovalev
