Carl Froch Vs Sergio Martinez at 168?

ACtually, SErgio really isn't a better fighter. . He;s faster, but that's about it. . . They both have equal boxing IQ's, and boxing insticts. . .


and size wise, there's not relaly that much of a difference. . Froch is hardly a big SMW. . ANd Sergio has been a natural MW for the past few years. .

He rehydrates to 168-170. . . I remember he even weighed in at 176 for the 30 day pre-fight weigh-in. . . Froch probably walks around right arond his weight. . . I bet he doesn't rehydrate more than 10 pounds heavier than Sergio. . .


It's 75/25 Froch for me. . martinez might be able to get in, and out like he did against Pavlik, and outpoint him. . using his superior foot speed to skeet around the ring, and dictate range. . . But Froch will probably find him with that up-jab, and eventually "counter sergio's counters". .

martinez, like Bute, has NO HIGH-GUARD, and he's really not as slick as a guy with his speed should be. . He doesn't bend at the waist particularly well, and he can't stand in the pocket, and slip, bob, and weave punches. . His only defense is his fast feet.
