All your posts here are interesting.

I disagree with u on your apathy for this matchup, its a great matchup.

Froch ,granite chin, heavy handed, fast reflexes, slow hands and feet yet a,man who always found a way to win except v ward.froch is top class no doubt

But he never met anyone like a hearns even the semi shot slowed down hearns of 168.....jermain taylor and dirrell and ward arent faster than tommy and they dont hit harder

He "beat" a still fast and useful srl.imo srl there beats ward....and imo hearns beats froch....just has too much speed and physical assets.the skills alone would mean a near shut out as rommy boxes his way to 119-108

But tgere is a chance froch wears down hearns late and stops him...the 89 hearns was suddenly vulnerable.2 years earlier no such thing a demolition by hearns

 Good point I guess. That's sort of my fear too ...

Maybe what I should have said is that this fight is Hearns' to lose ... and he'd probably try to find a way by mixing it up.

Leonard has zero chance of beating Ward. None.

I cant see that I've displayed any apathy for this match.:huh I just think Froch is being sold short here ,he is far more proven at the weight.

Froch has the attributes you need to beat Hearns:

    Strong chin
    Punch power
    Heart
    Stamina

First few rounds would be very tough for Carl but I expect him to grit his teeth, weather the storm and once the initial onslaught is over he gradually gets close enough to land flush on Tommy, once he does the fight ends fairly quickly.

    Froch KO8

This seems a reasonable take on it to me.If Hearns won this it would from behind his jab, he would not be koing Froch imo. NB I'm not a particular fan of Froch ,he isn't aesthetically pleasing to me , but he was very effective and has very big b*lls.

The thing about Hearns is he's better in fantasy fights than he was in reality. If he fought his career in fantasy mode, he never would've lost to Barkley and Leonard; the Hagler fight would've been much different too.

My money would probably be on Froch doing what Kinchen came very close to doing.

Hearns is great no doubt about it, but why are people selling Froch sort?

SMW is relatively a younger division compared to the rest.

Froch is/was a natural smw and dare I say one of the best smws.

What's there to suggest he wouldn't emulate what Hagler did?

I honestly believe Froch would beat the living **** out of Hearns.

Don't forget granite chin, great recuperative abilities, great power, great warrior like mentality and the ability to grind an opponent down. He's also got pretty good IQ and can effectively follow a game plan.

His major drawback is, he's slow as ****.

Speed Froch up a little bit and you've got an ATG monster.

Even Ward was struggling in the last 2 rounds, although he won the fight clearly.

Froch has a different style than Kinchen, Barkley or Hagler Froch does not put his hands up and pressures forward and forward.

Hearns has more skills. He would have been the favourite in this matchup.I have tons of respect for Froch cause he fought everybody.

Hearns certainly had more natural talent than Froch, so did many of Froch's victims:think
