The other way around is more likely. Whom did Barkley ever stop like that? When did he even turn a fight around in the late stages?

And when did Froch ever fade late? Like Barkley did against Duran.

 

Carl just can not fight on the inside and his guard is too low.Barkley gets to him eventually in my opinion.Styles make fights.

 

Barkley was not a very good infighter himself and certainly not a sharpshooter. Froch beat much sharper punchers. I don't see much in Barkley style that would be trouble for Froch. Froch was mainly bothered by speed and movement, things Iran didn't have much of.
