Smith is starting to open up, tearing the body of Blackwell with coal-stokers. Blackwell is running to his left, poking out with his shorter jab to deter Smith but not coming close to making contact. Smith is dancing in and out, staying off Blackwell's jab. Big uppercut to the body by Smith after jumping over to Blackwell's flank. Combo to the guard by Smith, pinning Blackwell to the ropes. Double left hook to the body by Smith, finding a spot just below Blackwell's elbows. Blackwell has a bloody nose. Right hand to the nose by Smith. Blackwell is trying to jab as Smith moves in, or chop him with a right. Smith is beating him to the punch every time.

Round 4

Blackwell is starting to dive inside and put up high planking jabs overhead. Right to the chest by Blackwell. Smith begins to put his punches together and seize control of center ring again. A wide left uppercut transitions into a jab and cross to the chin as Smith walks Blackwell down. Big slapping overhand right by Blackwell lurching forward, blocked. Smith eats a jab but lands a right hand lead to the head. Big feather-duster combo to the body, landing about thrice with each hand while pushing Blackwell into the corner. Right hand over the top by Smith as Blackwell loads up on his own. Body shots by Smith. Hair brushing jabs by Smith. Blackwell loads up on more 1-2 and misses as Smith twists off the ropes.
