    Eddie Hearn has excelled himself this time. That stupid Mick Hennessy only had Froch on Showtime.

    People wonder why I keep sticking up for Frank: Calzaghe v Manfredo had a live gate of 35,000 and was covered by HBO. Also live on ITV.

    But hey...Eddie Hearn is the 'new age' promoter.

    I wonder how it works though, why do some promoters strike deals, and others don't..?

    Money..? Vision..? Marketing..?

    I would have thought that HBO and Showtime would be desperate to broadcast Froch by now. Froch is already sold to US fans.

    His fight with Taylor was only on Showtime live because he was fighting a ' big American name' (at that time anyways), and fighting in the States. IIRC that fight was not shown live here in the uk.

    I know what i'd prefer.....just sayin

    Unless you're with Al Haymon or Golden Boy HBO are more interested in fights rather than fighters. Froch/Mack calibre fights hardly ever end up on Showtime/HBO.

    Showtime or HBO should be backing Froch after his destruction of Bute. One of them should have even showed that fight.

    Ken Hershman is in charge of HBO boxing and he helped create the Super Six.
