It's pretty obvious Showtime don't want anything to do with Froch, I have no idea why though, he was in pretty much the only good fights in the Super 6! And the dramatic KO of Taylor..It's baffling, just because he got schooled by Ward..

I can't believe they didn't show Froch/Bute.

 

and me mate it makes no sense, hes got a profile in the states, he's a personality unlike Ward, and he's always in great fights, Froch Bute was a brilliant fight on paper and in action, makes no business sense not to have him on tv

 

I think it was because Showtime only wanted to make Ward/Bute, but Andre didn't want the fight.

Don't ask me why Ward turned it down though, Andre would have executed Bute.

It's no point in Hearn trying to increase Froch's exposure in the states so late on in his career anyway, he doesn't have the support of a network, US fans or a big named US promoter to make real money over there

Hearn understands this, Carl is getting a following in the UK now, becoming a celebrity like Khan, Hatton, Haye, tv appearances etc, so the money will be in UK tv and sponsorships.
