Pointless fight. I won't criticise Froch for finally taking a gimme, but it seems a shame to break up his run of fights with Mack. Shame they couldn't get Kessler. It sounds like Mikkel priced himself out.
With such a significant and lucrative offer in Bute II already under agreement, a fight against an opponent of lesser quality is understandable. Mack is not a complete pushover, so that is good at least. Froch is having himself one great career, that is for sure.
Should be a fun fight. Mack is good for the first few rounds he is fast and can hit a little. Froch TKO 7 after a good fight
its a good fight for froch, not to easy and not to hard. i think he deserves an easier fight so i expect him to win, i can see a semi quick stoppage tko win for him in about 7rds, all depends on what mack brings to the table.
A bit disappointing, given Carl's recent run of opponents. But then, who can blame him? He's got the most solid list of recent opponents so he "deserves" it. Should've been Kessler-Froch II in Nottingham, though.
