I think the critisism of his opposition is a bit unfair, he has fought some
decent guys like Robin Reid, Mathew Barney, Brian Magee, Henry Porras and Sergey Tatevosyan.

Brian Magee - best win of Froch's career; B- level at best; the fight was competitive
Henry Porras - guy was shot, journeyman
Sergey Tatevosyan - C level; Froch fought him less than 8 weeks after Bute beat him up; ref Terry O'Connor jumped to end the fight a bit prematurely.

 

Froch best win was a shot to **** Reid. Do you have any idea what Reid did one fight before Froch? He went the distance in a fairly competetive fight with Jesse ****ing Brinkley; a guy who had losses to Joey Spina, Alfonso Gomez, and Sergio Mora!atsch

 

solid chin, big puncher, untested. Needs to improve his defence from this fight onwards, keeps his hands too low for my liking and isnt so quick that he can do this and get away with it- i think he'll do ok, i see it being a big test with Pascal but one in which he should get through.

how can you make either of those statements? He hasn't fought anyone of any note yet, maybe against a top opponent he will be more defensively intelligent? Perhaps he will get KO'd in a few rounds? Who knows, it's all guesswork at this point!

 

You are 100% right, but Froch's persistent army of nuthuggers have rubbed the forum the wrong way and most people just want to see Froch get destroyed. Of course, Froch's statements had something to do with it too...
