Carl Froch wants a Kessler or Bute fight if he wins the S6. In England, though.

As often, Froch tells one thing today and the exact opposite tomorrow. He just said he was going to move to America after the super 6 because he had not enough support in his home country.

I'd say that if Showtime agrees to put money even if it's in Europe (they don't like to air delayed fights), Bute will fight him there. If Showtime doesn't accept, Froch won't be able to put enough money and he will want himself to come to America.

That's a lot of money but that's only talk money. Sauerland cannot sign anything until Kessler fights Stieglitz. What if it's only bluffing? What if Ward doesn't want to go to Denmark? the 10M purse is only a trick. I wouldn't wait or 9 months in case it really happens.

Both fighters should ignore the HBO buildup for S6 winner versus Bute and face more deserving competitors.

I can see a Froch-Kessler match up in England being a big attraction. It would be a great fight coming out of the S6 for Froch, even though he loses to Ward.
This time around, I think Froch may knock out Kessler and finally put an end to his hype.

 

For as much as Froch talks about almost anything ... when he's referring to Bute his words are few and his phrases are pretty short, mostly consisting in " He's the IBF champ I'm the WBC champ ... possibility. "

 

The thing is, I don't think Froch will lose that much momentum is Ward beats him. apart from that, I heard him say before that Kessler would be open to a rematch in Britain too, so maybe it is possible. I do agree with you, but Kessler is a warrior and seems to be willing to fight anyone, anywhere, so who knows? I'd love to see it.

I think it'll probably come down to whichever location makes the most money. If that's neutral, Britain or Denmark, I think that's where it'll be.

Canada is one of the fairest place to box, if you are from the outside. I actually didn't think that Pascal-Bhop first fight was a robbery. It was close, and Pascal got 2 KD's which made it very hard for Bhop. And he fairly won the second fight.

On the Bute-Jonhson undercard 2 boxers from Quebec have had really close fight and most peoples have seen thenat win but the 2 times the foreigners got the decision.
