If we had more folk like Froch in the game, boxing would be in a much better place.

I think Froch should have attacked Ward more instead of laying back and being too cautious..............Froch is afraid of nobody, great warrior, but his strongest points are his aggressiveness. I like Froch, respect him a lot. He fights the very best, goes on the road, will fight anyone anywhere.

This is what i'v been saying for a while, the only fighter who was a legitimate super middleweight was jean pascal, andre ward dismantled him over 12 rounds, kessler who is past his best days gave him all he could handle and had him beat, he did nothing against adre dirrell to suggest he even won the fight. abraham and taylor were glorified middleweights

Froch is a true warrior. He has fought on the road way too much. Ward would not travel at all. Ward would not allow Bute to fight in his tournament, Ward was the only boxer who did not have to travel. Now Ward refused to fight Bute, but expects Froch to fight him instead. Froch will fight Bute, Ward will not. I think Bute will be the first to stop Froch, but I will still have huge respect for Froch win, lose, or draw.............

You know, I admire when people don't even hide their bias. I said years ago that Froch wasn't fighting the top tier opposition away from home because of his desire to prove his mettle, he did it because he couldn't get the fights otherwise.

But that doesn't diminish the challenge or make me admire him any less for doing it. Perhaps you should log out, have a think about it, and never come back.

name me one thing which in my post which isn't fact
kessler is past his best (compare and contrast his recent perfromaces to how he did against calzaghe)
abraham and taylor were career middleweights who had achieved nothing at 168
Andre dirrell was negative in the fight but he outlanded froch and made him look pedestrian how many rounds did you give to froch in that entire fight?

i respect him he has a solid resume, a resume which people like to blow out of proportion i think abraham and taylor were good wins, but they were never elite fighters at 168. why is this so hard to digest? you need to stop being emotional and letting blind nationalism rule your mind.Part of the reason why people claim he fights the best fighters, is that his previous promoter was unable to manipulate any of the main sanctioning bodies to get him fights with low-tier opponents, he had no alternative but to fight in the s6.

Agree with this Froch has had a good run but its hardly Evander or Oscar like infact Devons is comparable if not better.

I think his run of fights is respected not because all of the oppoenents were ' elite ' but because it was as tough a run as you'll see pretty much any other boxer take in the last few years.

Thats the point. Not many other boxers have gone on the road and fought tough fight after tough fight like Froch has. Now I ain't naive enough to think that was his choice, but it still deserves respect.

Him wanting to fight the best consistently is a good thing, because he's one of the top super middles in the world, we want the best fighting the best, this is great for boxing.

Whilst most of his opponents are not 'elite'(Ward could well go on to be though), all of them have ranged from slight underdogs to clear favourites. They've all been comparable to Froch in ability or superior. That means its been a tough, competitive run for him. On paper there have been no easy marks for him. The criticisim is baffling imo when you consider there are more obvious candidates for that sort of treatment.

Eddie Hearn is quickly knocking off all his supposed "top talent".This has disaster written all over it.Froch simply at this point of his career deserves a ending than this.

Witter, Urango, Kotelnik, Bradley, Mattysee and Maidana is as good as Frochs run with out the super 6 hype.
