I think Froch would have to have a fight televised on HBO first (because of business reasons) so that Americans can see who he is. Being Pavlik and Taylor are both HBO fighters, having Froch fight one of them would be a bit confusing for those who don't know anything about him. I still want to see Froch/Bute but that would most likely come into play 2 years or more from now. Pavlik should stay back down at 160 after this fight, there's no reason IMO to jump around in weight when you're recognized as the middleweight champion.

    Froch should sign with Warren.

Warren would get him the great IBO belt , have him defend it 20 times against ageing tomato cans in the suburbs of nottingham.

Froch frustrates the life out of me

Everything seems to take so long. This proposed fight with Inkin is a step in the right direction I suppose

If he gets himself a belt, he'll have more of a chance of getting a fight like this when one of these guys steps up, most likely Taylor

Thats exactly why I said Froch doesn't have a good promoter. Big Mick needs to raise his game - at the moment he seems totally incapable of getting big fights for the top guys within his stable, such as Froch and Witter - Ok Witter has this fight with Hopkins, but I doubt Mick had much to do with that one.

All we hear from Hennessy Sports is trash talk, instead of getting big fights to give his guys some exposure on both sides of the Atlantic - the first I heard of Carl Froch was when he called out Calzaghe and beat a tomato can on Friday Fight Night in late '06!

To be honest, many of the promoters over here are rubbish. I summarise them as follows:

Hennessy: Far too much talking instead of getting big fights. Won't let his guys fight on other shows, lacks the clout, financially and otherwise, to entice big names.

Warren: Capable of getting big fights for his fighters, but too much WBU/WBO intercontinental for my liking. Has the clout but lacks the desire to expose his fighters on the US stage.

Hobson: Gets big fights for his men, such as Woods and Hatton, yet stages so few shows that most people have barely heard of him. Gives the fighter what they want, more than most.

Maloney: Mainly small hall shows for him, with the odd exception.

    Hearn: Ditto.
