Feel free to debate it. You'd notice a lot more unnecessary risks taken by Magee on the offense in the Froch fight, and a more educated use of his straight left in the Bute fight.

It says that Bute was afraid to step up. Otherwise he wouldn't have made a lowball.

When exactly was he right? First time when he said the winner of the super 6 had to fight Bute? The second time when he said Bute needs to prove himself? The third time when he said he;s sad Bute took on Froch cause he wanted Bute?

My memory is poor, what was Kessler's counter offer again?

Exactly. Bat banks on Arum crying about Pavlik to support a flawed lowballing theory. :yep

This one, you have to be braindead to think Bute shouldn't fight someone top draw.

It's like me walking into a British title shot at 147 never stepping into a boxing ring.

So basically what you're saying is that Ward has been brain dead twice and sane only once in a matter of month.

Yea man, Bute is totally like you boxing wise. Why do i even bother :rofl.

Its ok. We're beating a dead horse anyway.

Why Froch continues to bring up Ward and Kessler as top level and elite is beyond me.He LOST to both and Dirrel beat him as well.Sure,Froch has fought better fighters in these three, but he also failed each timeA "little" help from home town cooking doesn't dispell this fact.
    Bute by dec.

Funny how you think you can legitimately act like a condescending ***** who knows Sauerland like he was your own bro.

Kessler wasn't lowballed, Sauerland was just not interested in taking the Bute fight at the time hence no counteroffer. Your only source to back up the basis/guarantee of 750K is Arum crying over Pavlik pulling out of the 1.35M guaranteed contract he had on his plate for a Bute fight. That proves absolutely nothing and you treat it as fact. Nobody knows the god damn truth behind last year's Bute-Kessler negotiations especially after they had Kessler attend the Magee fight... not even you.

Those three quotes weren't said in the matter of a month and boxers aren't the smartest of people.

and no it's a comparison of taking great steps up in class, Me who has fought no one, skipping local/regional to go national. Bute fighting fringe contenders, skipping actual world contenders to then fight the best in the world...

... the same guy worldwide noteworthy for his memorable phrase "yesterday I lied, today I am telling you the truth".

I would be more interested instead to understand if BatTheMan thinks that the part "Otherwise he wouldn't have made a lowball" he wrote in answer to "Both of them were offered a fight [...]" does really cover also Ward's downplaying of the possibility of a Bute match.
