    Are you really that stupid?

Was Kelly Pavlik fighting an ex-welterweight when he fought Martinez?
Was Bellew fighting an ex-light middleweight when he fought Cleverly?

Oh, and Martinez was never asking those to come up to 160. He said he would go down to weights that they had agreed to in previous fights.

Martinez has tried to get fights with the recognised P4P #1 & #2 at weights no higher than they have fought at previously.

    Happy with that, Tommy baby?

what has that got to do with anything. I never contested that fact. I just said that Martinez tried gettings with ex flyweights and ex featherweights. all of which are facts. But it doesn't change the fact that he'd be fighting guys well below his natural weight division. If Froch can comfortably make 160 do you think Martinez would take the fight?

No certainty. It's an opinion. I'd be absolutely gobsmacked in Froch went down to middleweight.

I would love to see it, assuming he could get the big fights down there. But I just can't see it. Time will tell.

If showtime or HBO put the money up for it - you betcha

Do you also not recognise the coincidence that Martinez is chasing those two and they just happen to be the biggest money spinners in the sport?

    Facts, which are irrelevant.

    Martinez isn't a natural middleweight.

If the money was right, of course. Who has Martinez ducked previously?

Of course, I aint dumb. Just Sayin.

I only mention it cos didn't Martinez go on record as saying Hopkins was too big for him to fight. And Froch isn't too far away from that weight himself and will probably fight at that weight in the future. Froch isn't too much different in size to Hopkins neither

To fight Hopkins, Martinez would have to fight 10 pounds above his usual weight class. Martinez isn't asking Pac or Floyd to go anywhere they haven't been before.

yer course he is a natural middle weight he doesn't have to cut mad weight at the scales and came in 165 in his last fight, I'd say that's a natural middleweight. but he is a small middleweight

True Martinez hasn't ducked no one, just sayin that cos he mentions about Bernard Hopkins being a step too far , and well... see post above
