word on the scene that Froch would retire if he doesn't win against AA. He would not stick around on domestic level. He also says that he wants the fight in his hometown bc he is sick of the hometown decisions. "it is a disgrace, he would never win a decision in berlin":patsch "i only want fights on my terms"

Does he realize that he too got a hometown decision?:-(
when did he ever get shafted of a hometown decision? maybe he knows that his gf will leave him if he loses again.

i actually was just reading this. well he only wants big fights, so if he pulls out over a venue dispute the only big fight left would be w/ bute who would beat froch soundly, imo....

unless....he takes on a certain former mw champ :yep but in all seriousness, he shouldnt be thinking about retiring or any "what if" scenarios regarding the aa fight b/c he has a legit shot to win since aa is so inactive. i expect aa to knock him out despite being way down on the cards. but if froch can stay disciplined and stay on his backfoot like he showed he can do and do effectively against kessler, he has a legit shot.

the talk of retirement is very similar to what Kessler was saying before the Froch fight. Lets hope Froch comes out against Abrahams fighting like it is all or bust the way Kessler did against him.

You cant compare england home town cooking to germany.

Froch could win every round and lose over there.

He won't make the same mistake this time, he won't be frustrated by Froch because he WILL be landing his best shots with Froch's shitty defense.

He sounds like a whiner. It is okay for him to get a home town decision but not okay for him to lose one. He needs to look in the mirror.

What's up with young British fighters in their prime talking about retiring? First Haye, now Froch. What ever happened to the British fighting spirit? Why give up so early?

I found it hilarious to read him talking about hometown decisions when he got the only one in the tournament

Froch is the only one in the tournament to recieve a gift so far, I really don't know why he's whining. True champions fight and snatch there title back Froch!

I hope he's got a few more top level fights left in him, but if he loses to AA perhaps it's for the best. His style doesn't make for a long career, he's started a family and got his hands in a few pies business wise, so he could look to retire rather than battle on an risk possible permanent damage.
I wouldn't begrudge him an early retirement. He's given us some great nights of boxing.

i know right. Kessler out worked him. it was close but i gave it to kessler by a slight margin so why is he crying about? I don't even think he landed more than 6 clean shots on dirrell. I gave froch 3 rounds and those were close too.
