Carl is a whining ****. I used to like his self-confidence, but now it is just tragic.

Like road kill insisting it is really Haute Cuisine.

Hope he has enough money stashed away.

he can still qualify even if he loses.

If Ward beats Dirrell and Green, and KEssler beats Green, then Froch is in.

    Then it would be...

    Ward 6
    Abraham 6
    Kessler 4
    Froch and Dirrell 2
    Green 0

How would you know Froch is in? It may be Dirrell?

Not odd logic if you saw the fights. He only got the decision against Dirrell, he didn't beat him. And he got outboxed by Taylor until Taylor's infamous lack of training got to him. And no, Pascal is not a good boxer and he went life and death with that guy.
And I never said he was going to retire. I just said I hope he does. Classless, self-diluted jerk is what he is.

If Kelly could get with a trainer that could give him more variety and get his weight right, that would be intresting and HBO would pay alot to Carl to get it.

Even if he loses Froch-Pavlik would be worth seeing.

Except for Froch's only win in the tournament, of course.

I'm quite sure they would use Froch's bull**** hometown decision as the deciding tiebreaker (not only did that bad decision cost Dirrell that particular fight, but now he likely has to rely on beating Ward to advance). But, as I'm sure most would agree, a rematch would be the best way to handle it. The rules have already been established though.

I've heard that they use the number of won rounds if they are even.

So would would have won more rounds so far on the judges scorecards - Froch or Dirrell?

    Froch won 4-5 against Kessler.
    Froch won 7 against Dirrell.
    Dirrell won 5 against Froch.
    Dirrell won 9-10 against Abraham.

In total Dirrell 14-15 against Froch 11-12.

So if Froch loses 7-5 to Abraham, then Dirrell only has to win 3 rounds against Ward.

But I cannot remember if head to head results are counted first. It may be. And if it is, then Dirrell has to get AT LEAST a draw against Ward.

Dirrell won at least 9 of those rounds. Hate to break it to you but that is not a close fight. Paying the judges for hometown decisions shouldn't be dealt with by saying "well he can't expect to get a decision in Nottingham, he should have planned ahead to be screwed".

Froch is going to get destroyed in this fight...

He's slow, telegraphs his punches, has slow footwork and shitty defense. AA picks him apart and KO's his ass within 10
