Starting to warm to him a little...still overall quite skeptical but his results are speaking for themselves. I do like his attitude to taking fights.
He's tough has a good chin and is a pressure fighter who hits hard not one punch KO hard but very hard he has his flaws and I don't think hell ever be one of the elite top ten p4p but I think you match him against the right kind of fighters like Andrade and such you might get the FOTY which hold value in my book.
Never knew much about him outside of some Ring articles... first fight i seen was with Taylor, started watching more interviews and now have a decent knowledge of the bloke... and i like him, If it wasnt for Kessler and Jermain Taylor id be rooting for Froch, and i def wouldnt mind him winning the whole thing, though i also dont think he will be one of the last men standing, and if he is i just dont see him winning, too prone imo to being outboxed... but we will see. I like him though...
he talks **** he comes to knock you out he's flawed (makes for a more exciting fight) he talks **** :good:good thats 2 thumbs up
He's a good fighter but he's not going to do well in this tournament because he's probably got the worst draw. Dirrell then Kessler then Abraham. I rate him above Abraham but he might be dead by the time he gets there.
Like him as a person and fighter. He respects his opp but is confident and willing to take risks and show calslap up. Thats a win in my book.
Talks **** and backs it up, but also knows when to be respectful. The only blight on his name is the annoying Calzaghe references, but he will probably grow out of that with the super six tourny. Big fan of his attitude, if every boxer carried themselves the way he does we would have a lot better match ups. As a fighter, i can't help but think he wishes he was Roy Jones sometimes, but he is very entertaining and overcomes relatively limited skills with raw determination and hard training (Taylor could learn a few things from him). Can't wait for the super six, hopefully there isn't too much drama in the form of robberies or poor referee decisions costing fighters big. We will certainly see what Froch has to bring to the table, and overall the tourny could set a great precedent for the sport.
I like the guy - not my style of fighter to support. There is flawed and then there is chin first worry about the rest later. He runs a little too close to the latter for my liking
This dude is one of the best here. ^ Period. I have some favorites, but K-Man brings serious heat. Daily. Excellent post, as usual, K-Man.
Just like the man says. I'm a Brit and live near Nottingham, but I know i'd really like Froch whereever he was from. I just like his attitude, his fighting style, his determination, clean living and and self-belief. IMO a great ambassador for the sport. Dude even has a good fight name "The Cobra" :good
I've nothing against Froch as person except when he cries about Calzaghe not fighting him. Other then that he is an entertaining fighter.
why hate on froch for tring to make a fight with joe thats the biigest fight he could get money wise and would be the hardest fight he could get to
