Lol. Khan admitted himself that Kotelnik was the weakest champion in ANY divison on the Bunce boxing hour. One minute Khan was laughing at him and the next he was claiming him as a serious challenge. Khan also "enchanced" his reputation by beating faded legend Barrera (by using his head), who in his day would have handed Khan his ass. Khan also got KO'd by a journeyman who Kevin Mitchell made light work of. :hi:

Froch enhanced his resume by barely beating a very faded Taylor, and then being gifted a decision against Dirrell, he might beat Kessler, who isn't very good, but AA will stop him.

Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell and maybe Kessler. Yeah, I guess Froch is just a very lucky man :think

Let's be realistic - Pascal went on to be WBC Light Heavy Champion. Taylor was faded AFTER Froch KO'd him - he looked good against Froch until this point and he put up a good display against Pavlik in a close competetive fight, prior to fighting Froch - a fight Taylor tried to avoid like the plague. Froch was no way gifted a decision against a very negative Dirrell, although admittedly it was a close fight, but then Dirrell went on to beat AA. Frochs resume looks pretty good to anyone who has the slightest clue about boxing....so please and with all due respect ...STFU.

Pretty much, if Taylor survived the 12th he would have won, Dirrell won but was robbed.

...and Khan got KO'd by a journey man, then headbutted a faded legend into submission. Then he got handed a title fight :nut against the worlds weakest champion and now he's going on to fight, probably the only fighter in his division who is incapable of KOing him but has a modicum of credibility.

What's all this revisionist **** about Taylor being 'shot' or as you have put it 'very faded'? Two defeats to Pavlik (and only one inside the distance) and he's done?
He might be shot now, but he certainly wasn't when he fought Froch.

That's funny, since khan beat a very badly faded Barrera, who went 12 rounds with Manny a year earlier.

He didn't survive the 12th round though, did he? And Dirrell robbed himself by being a *****. He knew he was in Froch's back yard, so why the **** would you do the 100m sprint backwards anytime there was a chance of a punch being thrown? Did he think that would impress the judges?

Dirrell landed punches, Froch didn't, that's about the long and short of it.

Oh really. He did well to land punches, when half the fight he was kneeling in front of Froch doing a good impression of a rent boy and the other half he was running like Usain Bolt on amphetamine :-(

Come on the Dirrell got robbed thing still goin on?? The kid was naive that night, thought that by running all night and VERY occasionally showing flashes of his impressive handspeed you can win a world title. Our surveys said- AH AAAHHHHHH. Why is it every close decision is deemed a screw job in some circles these days? Froch won that fight, it was very tight and a poor performance but the the right man won.

On Froch he's not getting the credit he deserves for the run hes been on. The pascal win (now WBC light-heavy champ as previously mentioned) was a great throwback fight really entertaining and ITV should be ashamed of not putting on the Taylor fight live after his title win brought em millions of viewers. When he knocked out Taylor, Jermian was off the back off a wide points win against Jeff Lacy and before fought a cloers fight than the scores suggested v Kelly Pavlik. That sort of dramatic knock-out loss in afight you're winning has a lasting effect on a fighter thats whats happening to Taylor. He was by no means shot when he fought the Cobra.

Ive already mentioned the Dirrell WIN, its a terrific hat trick of wins for Froch whos showing hes willing to mix it with anyone and is a champion to be proud of. AS proof im no Froch mark i'll be honest and say its nigh on a 50/50 fight with Kessler. Both are strong, both come to fight, both got a good set of whiskers and both seem to forget thier boxing ability regularly and prefer to have a tear up. Froch wants to keep his belt and has mentioned his '0' alot leading up to this fight whilst Kessler gets an unlikely title shot as per the crazy Super 6 schedule and its pretty much 2am at the last chance saloon for him if he loses so theres plenty of motivation for either guy. Gonna go for Froch very late in a close war with both marked up. Wouldnt be surprised if cuts play a part either.

Not getting dragged in the Khan issue got f*** all to do with this thread!
