Exactly how I see it. Some of his detractors actually said that Dodson was clearly outboxing him, until Froch got lucky. To me he seemed to just swagger about until he decided to end it.
Froch has all the tools to make it to the very top, BUT he simply MUST get a move on with his career. I'm a big fan of Froch, but seriously, what is the point of fighting a has-been like Reid?
Carl Froch - in my opinion - is on the verge of greatness. Yes - I said it and I have every confidence that when stepped up he'll do the business. I actually like his cockiness and let's face it he's whipped all competition he's faced thus far!!! Don't hate the fighter hate the game..
I think Froch is a very talented fighter and has great potential. However, id rather he kept quiet about fighting the Kessler's, Calzaghe's and Bute's of the division, and started to work his way up. IMO he hasnt earned a shot at those guys yet. He needs to get a fight with one of the fringe contenders after Reid, Inkin would be good if a deal can be struck.
Froch v Mundine would be excellent. Seriously, can you imagine the thrash talk in the lead up to that. It'd be magical
