carl froch

its a pretty sad state of affairs that, with ward inactive, froch is the ruler of a division....now dont get me wrong carl isnt a bad guy...comes across as a fun to like guy....and hes pretty tough....but he just isnt that good....and he seems to want to take a page from his hero(how sad is it anyone could consider this guy a hero) joe calzaghe....now he wants to come to america and take on bums who lost to bryan vera or an aged former superstar....

lets face it...there isnt a guy in that division that, save for ward, the dirrell brothers dont paste.....

frochs resume looks like ...a win over jermain taylor...that was a good win at the time....lost a little luster over time but ill give him some credit for that one......after that he dropped back to back fights though....jermain taylor is in and out of pysch hospitals....froch may be party to blame

lets be honest...if he fought dirrell anywhere else on earth its an easy ud loss for the cobra...he was outclassed and embarrassed by a guy that gets dogged hard around here....a guy who has wasted prime years of his career....dirrell thoroughly outboxed this "cobra" if you will.......then he loses to kessler.......

he follows that up with a win over abraham and the older than dirt glen johnson...i mean abraham is having wars with a domestic level fighter in paul smith....beating glen johnson? ehhh....we dont wanna get into that froch fans do we?

then ward beats him down...no shame there though carl....thats the son of god right there...hold your head high....you survived 12 with one of the best

the bute win was nice...nice for my pockets....getting froch at plus money was robbery and i profited lovely from an oddsmakers error.....but lets be honest...that win doesnt mean much now...bute isnt elite or even close to it

he then beats an old, near retirement, kessler...ehhhh....then is basically struggling with a domestic level guy and losing until he pulls an andy lee out of his butt and knocks him out.....then has to rematch the guy cause the other guy looked so good...when hes not actually good....and froch wins again

now he wants to come to the good ole u.s of a....to cement some "legacy" and fulfill a dream of fighting in vegas like ole joey....chavez jr. is one consideration....apparently mentioning the 70 year old bernard hopkins is on the agenda as well and a possibility.....carl i know roy cant make 168 anymore but you might as well try and ask...afterall he is still fighting too...i say give it a shot ...take a page from joey.....maybe u can hump nard or roy in vegas and show off to all your "mates"....because the last thing you wanna do is rematch ward or andre dirrell........

its a sad state of affairs when dan rafael has abraham ranked 2nd in the division...and groves 4th....i reckon that the dirrell brothers are actually the two best fighters in the division not named andre ward......just retire carl....do us all a favor and spare us ....or have a nice going away fight in nottingham....dont come here and waste our time....you sir are no legend:bart

oh i definitley admire frochs fighting spirit...i mean...hes a tough hombre....and you are right...hes pretty successful when you consider his limitations........he just isnt that good....and its kind of sad when you look at the division right now.....and im not down with trying to get bernard in the ring....chavez could be somewhat interesting if chavez is focused ......i just dont think froch and his resume is anything special when you look at what alot of the guys turned out to be and you consider the boxing lesson andre dirrell gave him as well

 

dirrell outboxed froch by a fair margin....anyone who cant admit it should just quit posting and following the game....anywhere else on earth and its an easy UD for dirrell....froch only looks good against mentally weak or severely limited fighters

 

the only one who is fortunate is froch...fortunate abraham fouled dirrell and ****ed his brain up...otherwise the world would have been clamoring for froch to give dirrell a well deserved rematch because of the blatant robbery....a rematch that dirrell would have dominated as well....froch is limited....a guy like dirrell boxes circles around him......the fact that froch has even mentioned hopkins as a possibility is a disgrace....if froch is a warrior hell go out like one instead of trying to take a page from that **** calzaghe

 

cmon man stop being a delusional fanboy...lets be real here....dirrell outclassed froch in his hometown....abraham was getting thoroughly outlclassed and frustrated because he couldnt catch the matrix(no shame it wasnt an easy thing to do back then).....and he got ****ed off and had to throw a cheap shot.....that was prime dirrell right there and these euro fighters were just thoroughly outlcassed....dirrell clearly isnt the same guy anymore....hed still whoop abraham easily and could prob still beat froch.....but froch would rather chase dreams of trying to be accepted in america and fighting bernard hopkins whos about 78 years old....or he wants to fight a guy that likes to train sometimes when hes not smoking weed and drinking coronas and tequilla

If by "retired" u mean hit a defenseless man with a cheap shot resulting in a dq....then ya I guess u could say he retired the guy ....if arthur was shot when dirrell fought him what was arthur 8 months later when Froch fought him? What is he in 2015 when he's the number 2 guy in the dvision? That's my point ....Froch is simply the gold medalis in the special olympics right now.....he rules ****.......a healthy/prime dirrell beats him easy....and he doesn't belong in the same breathe as ward

 

No one is trying to compare dirrells resume to Froch.....I'm not trying to make an argument for dirrell to bethe number 1 guy in the division.....if it weren't for Abrahams foul tactics dirrell might have been......and he out boxed the supposed top guy right now......but I was never trying to call dirrell the class of thdivision or compare resumes.....that's what u decided to do to deflect that 168 is **** and full of euro bum fighters without ward around ...and Froch is simply the king of a pile of a dung

The whole division is basically trash....I wish ward would move up ...I shouldn't say trash that's harsh ....I respect the sport too much.....but there's just nothing noteworthy there ....Froch should just take a fight in Nottingham and call it a day.....don't bother coming to the states for some final hurrah trying to impress us if ur gonna mention b hop as a possibility
