I agree with this, and to be honest both Bute and Kessler were flawed fighters, but both got dealt with in extremely impressive fashion by Froch and Calzaghe.

Where I think Froch's win may have been better was the way he adapted and prepared specifically for Bute. I thought Bute would give Froch major problems with his hand speed, but Bute seemed shocked at how Carl seemed to stay with him in. Whenever Bute tried to dart in and out to get his shots off, Carl nailed him with fast counters. He out did him at his own game which I thought was very impressive.

In comparison, Lacy was tailor made for Joe.

lacy was over hyped mediocracy, and dirrell was a great athlete who acidently found himself in a boxing ring.

Froch is for real and over the last 2-3 fights he has left, he should prove this forever.

  3. Froch's wins against Taylor,Pascal, Johnson and Abraham are better than bloody Lacy

Combined these guys have beaten some top fighters, Lacy has beaten a shop worn Robin Reid & Omar Sheika and that's it

Well Lacy was hardly gonna go on to be a brilliant fighter after the humiliating pounding that Calzaghe gave him then the fact he permanently injured his shoulder two fights later against Tsypko when he tore his rotator cuff, he was ****ed after that. Lacy at the time was still a better win than the likes of Abraham who let's be honest has done absolutely jack **** all at super middleweight, Pascal should be ranked higher than Abraham without a doubt

If my back was against the wall and I looked to see who was stood by the side of me I'd rather see Lacy there than Bute!

You can't say Lacy was a brilliant win and then criticise Bute or Abraham.... or say the opposite.

Lacy wasn't all that, and Bute probably won't turn out to be either.

Abraham.... it's strange how he was completely ineffective at 168, but it wasn't as if he was taken to a 115-113 x3 decision, he whitewashed the guy, which hardly anyone could have predicted.

A few were saying ''someone is going over'', but a shut out decision either way wasn't anticipated.

I think you have to look at what that fighter has done at the weight and where they were in the division at the time of the fight.

hard to say, In my opinion definately Bute at number 1, but the other 2-5 are debateable

    Bute undefeated SMW world champ
    Abraham
    Magee
    Pascal
    Taylor

Cant belive people are giving it the hes only beaten one champion nonsense. There should only be 1 belt holder anyway and pre andre ward cleaning up it could have been him.
Hes beaten some good and great fighters. Hes done it all couple of stunning KO wins, coming back of the deck to win, schooling a top class pro. Its not like he cherry picked Abrham to come up 2 weight classes. Abrham enterd the Super 6 as a real threat and most people picked him to beat Carl or even stop. AS it was Froch took him to school
