For ****s sake, id fancy venus williams over fraudley.

Those are all valid observations, but even on that basis it should be a clear pick in favour of Williams.

Harrison was a Comonwealth grade fighter, nothing more.

I would prety much know what was going to happen if he fought a guy on Williams level!

 

Audley Harrison has a glass jaw that he protects with a slow jab, reach, clinching and decent power.

Tony Zale was once asked about "glass jaws", he said he didn't think there were so many of them , but he had come across quite a few "glass hearts". I think that is the case here.

 

It depends on the circumstances. If the fight took place soon after one of Williams's big losses, for instance, I'd give Fraudley a chance because he'd have the confidence to actually go for that glass jaw.

Prime-for-prime, Williams wins an unimpressive but wide decision i.e. he wins decisively without looking very good. The southpaw stance would make it a bit awkward for him, since he'd have to look out for the left more and his jab wouldn't be as effective as usual, but Fraudley simply couldn't put it together under a high-pressure situation whereas the Truth could (and arguably beat a still very good Holmes).
