The best version of Williams vs the mighty Buddy Baer. Remember, Williams dropped Morrison.

Wiliams boxes rings around Buddy and wins an easy decision or maybe batters him to a late stoppage defeat. BB has a punchers chance but its a slim one

Williams' chin may've been a bit suspect but Baer won't have the chance to exploit it with his laughably telegraphed punches.

Williams does just fine as long as he’s not open to lefts

I don’t think as much of Louis as my peers on here on a H2H basis at least.

Well you should. Even George Foreman said "Louis beats US ALL". Who might us all be? It might include luminaries like Muhammad Ali, Larry Holmes, Evander Holyfield, Riddick Bowe, Mike Tyson, Joe Frazier, Michael Moorer, Lennox Lewis and even Wlad Klitchsko.

I understand. But I think you’d agree that he was at least better than Carl Williams. And for the record I’d give the Truth a great chance of beating Bear. But still….

Yeah he was obviously better than Williams but I don’t put him in the top three H2H like so many do.

Didn't Mike Weaver starch him with a left hook? I know Mike Tyson did.

    Hi Buddy.
You surprise me Swag, must say I never thought I see on the forum " I don't think as much of Louis " in any context, on a personal level for me, its either Louis or Ali as No 1 , but as I have said more then once, we are entitled to our own opinions, and they should be treated with respect by one and all.
    stay safe amigo, chat soon.

I will go with Buddy Baer because he almost got Louis and I hold him in much higher regard in his era than I do Carl Williams in his.
