Smaller font please. But yes I do agree its ridiculous. Marg looked very bad against Williams. I thought Williams looked sharp, although he definitely doesn't like fighting off the back foot, which will be a big problem for him if he ever faces Cotto. I think vs Mosley and Mayweather he would be VERY hard to beat for both guys. His sheer size will make him a very tough fight for anyone in the division.

i was impressed with williams, after i watched his last 2 fights before margo i thought he was **** and just likes to brawl but he really changed things up for the margo fight.

Williams just won the title, so it's a tad early to start shitting on him.

Most definitly not a **** on Williams. But he and margarito are by far not the best in the division b/c they are very beatable. Williams less so.

I was impressed by both honestly, Williams did prove me wrong, but Margarito proved you all wrong regarding his defense you all talked **** about how the man looked against Clottey, in this fight he did not allow Williams to land much, i mean Williams threw 1200 shots and land 200 plus that is a very low connect rate for a man that size throwing that many shots you would think he would have landed the jab nearly at will.
Either way they are two of the top WW right now and Floyd Cotto Mosley Cintron and Oscar all have their work cut out if and when they fight them.

when margarito went defensive(copying clotteys style) he did not do anything..He cannot counter punch.. He has no speed to make that style work.. he had to go back to his same old self to land anything. I give him points for trying but he still was getting hit and he CANNOT MIX DEFENSE WITH OFFENSE.

Thats not true, he won 5 of the 12 rounds IMO, and in those five rounds he did win, it was because Williams wasnt taking those rounds off, I just think Margarito gave away one too many rounds early, he focused on the body and expected this kid to punch himself out, that didnt work and it costed him a fight and a title.
I would like to see how the other three governing bodies rank him in the next couple of months since he doesnt hold that WBO title any longer.

I thought that Williams looked like crap in that fight. He just outworked Tony. Tony looks like crap in every fight which he isnt fighting a bum except when Cintron had that meltdown.

Tony was a hype machine, he did nothing in the ring that would lead a rational person to think that he was an elite fighter.

there was nothing margarito could do to win the early rounds he could not even get in range when he did swing for the head Williams slid out of the way...There it goes again..Margarito lost b/c he lost..not b/c of what he did not do..it is b/c his is limited and not that good a fighter and he went defensive b/c he had to ..If he started walking williams down and opening up he would of just got punched silly by 50+ punches a round...the same thing would happen in a rematch..Margarito does not have the footwork or the skill to apply pressure effectively against a boxer who is on his toes as williams was..That was obvious..he could not eve put too punches together when he did have williams a little dazed to the body..lol

Listen man, if Margarito was a hype job than Williams is right next to him the fight was that close I had it 115-113 for Williams, there were no even rounds at all each round had a clear cut winner and a clear cut loser, so for Margarito being so limited he was able to limit Williams to around 20% of his shots landed out of 1200 he was also able to grab five rounds in there against a man who threw more than twice as many shots as he did, so I dont know where you get all this he is a hype job, that **** isnt reality, Hype jobs do not make close fights like this and they sure dont limit someones high out put that low.
whats comming from you is not truth its biased hate just admit that much and be done with it becuase what you speak is not what is real.

Like I said...Clottey hit margarito at will......Hype job...He went defensive and threw one punch..to the body at a time against a very flawed williams. Williams is a good fighter, but very green and flawed and a good fighter would capitolize.. No matter how many punches he throws per round. A good counter puncher would love to fight him..It makes there fight easier..throwing 100 punches in a round constantly may impress boxing's unintelligent.. But that same fighter would get knocked out by a good counter puncher or put to shame. Margarito got 5 rounds by fighting sloppy and just throwing wide hooks and haymakers and he gased out in the 11th. That is not skill, sorry ..that is desperation....:deal

Williams is a comer, tony is a goer. Not the same. Williams is going to get better, Tony isnt at this point. And as far as the scorecards...I think that what williams said after the fight is the reason that the score was closer. Remember he said that he was unsure about going the 12 so he held back in the late rounds. I think that the way he fought the 12th kinda proved that point. In a rematch i think that Tony would lose 10 rounds.:hi:
