Round 1

Adames is starting out southpaw, patiently stalking. Williams is using the full ring, holding the left arm out fully extended, checking the advance of Adames with some long jabs and 1-2s into the guard. Quick feet by Williams, leery of letting Adames get anything off besides a jab.

10-9 Williams, very close, absolute nothing round in terms of connects, all just strategic posturing.

 

Round 2

Williams is hit with some body shots and drifts into the ropes, where Adames harpoons with southpaw 1-2s. Williams tries getting his arms clamped over Adames' but is shrugged off and hit a few more times. Williams' chin holding up so far but Adames is wailing on him. Williams answers in kind, sending a hard combo slamming into Adames' guard and making him shell up and take a backward step. Adames just barely misses with another 1-2 as Williams strafes along the ropes. Adames pounds the body.
