    Truax found another gear in the sixth, applied good pressure, jabbing the belly of Brooks to set up the rest of his work and sap the wind from him, and forcing Brooks to spit his gum shield on two separate occasions. Brooks still with more volume and better movement, but Truax uncorked some uppercuts inside and now Brooks is the one initiating more of the holding & wrestling.

    Mouthguard comes out early again, I think a docked point is in order. Truax unloading bombs, most finding their target far easier than before. Brooks still throwing back, but his shots have far less on them. Then Brooks gets a second wind and Truax seems to be falling apart now. That was damned close.

    Truax walking Brooks down, spearing the body from afar then crouch-stepping in and shooting up with a line drive 1-2 against the beard. Lots of sloppy flurrying and clinching from Brooks, arms sawing at the upper back of Truax as he pushes down on him to stall. Truax weary and taking a rest, softly hitting the body as Brooks mugs and mauls him with alternating smothering clinches and push-away shoeshines. Nice hook by Truax late, though.

    The third wind has arrived. Truax is hammering him with jabs and straight rights, his mouthguard comes out again, Nelson docks him a point finally. Now Brooks is starting to hold. Caleb cracking him with uppercuts on the inside. Brooks fighting back, but Truax landing far cleaner more hurtful shots. ALthough Caleb gassed a little late.

    Closely fought, sloppy tenth. Both guys tired. Brooks flurrying and Truax firing bombs, neither with much accuracy or snap. Their best connections are on the body when they're press together in tight. Not enough from Truax, effort yes, clean shots no. Like he's punching through molasses.
