Bornea fights the first half of the round in the same rhythm, rather comfortably outboxing Martinez on the outside. Martinez starts pushing Bornea to the ropes and unloading aplenty to nick a round of two halves in which his half was slightly stronger.
    Martinez 10-9
    38-38 even

I feel so bad for any fighter that has to pay the steep price of being interviewed by Jim Gray in order to compete on Showtime.

I bet his breath is as rancid as his personality.

The zip seems to have left Bornea's punches as Martinez is shrugging off any incoming offence like it's nothing and returning with interest. Martinez looks to be getting into his groove now and Bornea losing his. A very close round where I think Martinez nicked it late with a good salvo.

I'd be happily down for a Hurricane vs. Pumita trilogy. Just very aesthetically pleasing combat.

I was wrong about Bornea, he has regained his momentum and made it a relatively easy round for himself. Martinez looks somewhat befuddled currently.
