    Damn a mad turn of events here as early into round Bornea's right ear starts pouring blood and Martinez starts pouring on the punches. Bornea seems out of sorts, still valiantly fighting on and doing well to stick out a hard round with a busted ear.

    Jade's a real ice-veined pro...did everything right all considered the rest of the ninth, remaining calm, turning orthodox to protect his ear, getting control with his movement and jab.

    But not sure his corner should in good conscience send him back out there.
