a middleweight, and taking punches from a huge puncher in peter. the guy is a beast

 

i wonder if hagler could have taken sam peters, rahmans, holyfields punches

we will never know. but based on the fact that toney did, i would say he has the best ever p4p

but overall best chin ever was oliver mccall. he has never even been stunned

Pea I was talking about our generation more so the last 15-20. But MCCall can be there. I think he did not fight the biggest punchers at Heavy though. If he went in with Mike and came out on his feet then he would seal the deal.

 

Forrest landed better shots on Baldomir than on Mayorga. Don't forget most of what will cause a fighter to be hurt with a punch is not seeing it coming. When Mayorga dropped his hands for forrest, he new exactly what was coming and from what direction.

 

He has a solid chin no doubt, but McCall with stood some bombs from Lennox in their rematch I doubt anybody can top that.

 

So true...so true..he caught baldomir lunging in swinging I mean perfect knockout counter punch opporunity. I mean perfect. Baldomir took those punches, uppercuts left hooks right hands. I mean that is a chin. He was never even close to going down.

 

he has a still chin, the man walks at 200 pounds now wow.and people gave floyd **** because he know he was not going to ko baldo, pbf is a smart man.know way he would have koed tata even if his life depended on it and he knew it to.

vernon has got some good pop in his punches but tata was barley fazed by them

 

The difference between the shots Mayorga was taking and the ones Baldomir was taking is that Balo was EATING HAYMAKERS ON THE JAW and barely blinking!

Lets not forget the pummeling and the knockdown Forrest scored against Mosley- who has a great chin too.

 

Even if you know you are not going to KO a guy it's ok to throw more than 5 punches per round. Floyd had the speen and accuracy that he could have landed at will and maybe even forced a stoppage due to accumulation

 

Forrest is the only man to put Mosley on the canvas, and he was able to stop Mayorga in his tracks on several occasions, particularly in the rematch. He's got legitimate power, and the fact that Baldomir was able to take flush shots the way he did indicates that he does, indeed, possess an all-world chin.

Andrade is Baldomirs brother..lol He has a cro-magnon skull but he is too lightly regarded to be in the mix. We are talking name fighters. I mean Andrade and Baldomir have pure titanium alloy skulls I know there mother had hell(no disrespect) but those domes..my god..Baldomirs head is bigger then his torso..lol
