Very good fight. Much like Hendo/Fedor, I hope it doesn't hit the ground and we see some questions answered.
On I know I've been a fanboy of certain fighters recently but lets be real for a second... BJ Penn can without a doubt win this fight in spectacular fashion. He seems so much more focused these last few fights (even the Edgar fights, he just couldn't adapt) and arguably won the Fitch fight. His boxing, in my opinion, is better than Condit and his jujitsu superiority is a no brainer. This is his fight to lose. Condit though, has a very good arsenal of his own. This fight should be a gun fight to the finish.
It's a very good chin, but he hasnt faced a one shot ko artist since Pulver, and this isnt the same Penn anymore I dont think he'll ko him, but a tko is more than likely
Hughes aside, the last two WW's BJ has faced This content is protected This content is protected And these two arent exactly ko punchers are they
Condit doesn't have the wrestling to control BJ on the ground like they did. You do know who GSP and John Fitch are right? The 2 worst guys stylistically for a lightweight to move up and fight :deal It would be like a WW moving up to fight Chael Sonnen at Middle. Can Condit take Penn down and control him like that?
These are Actually the last 2 WWs BJ has faced. Both top 10 fighters at the time: This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
If that happens, BJ will take him down and get top control..then most likely back control. BJ has taken Fitch and GSP down, he will be able to take down Condit if the stand up isn't going his way. And then Condit is on the ground with BJ on top. Good luck to him. :yep
