Very good fighter, very crafty. He can be outgunned, but knows how to neutralize that power. He could be alittle better, but lacks that something special. Great stamina, great chin, great determination, regular speed, regular power, sounds like a solid, good Mexican fighter. Needs to add something to the arsenal. Doesn't have ko power, but if he's landing punch after punch on a fighter he could learn to accumulate those punches without punching himself out and be a good finisher. You don't have to be a big puncher to be a ko artist many have tko's and stoppages. He could work on his speed and power. Not to go toe to toe with powerpunchers like Kirkland, but sneak in a powerpunch and catch Molina's opponents off guard. Molina seems to be stuck on one gear too. He doesn't waste many punches.

 

I have no idea what people see in him. It is blasphemy to even compare Molina to Bernard Hopkins which I've heard before.

He certainly didn't look elite in that last fight.

Looked like he wasn't worth a shyt after the 9th round.

Gets awfully tired for as much as he holds. Maybe he needs to work on his conditioning.

he is up there. u don't outwork/out think those guys without a lil' something. give this man his props.

 

he should work on his style if he wants to make any kind of serious money during his career. promoters hate fighters who make their fighters look bad without actually generating much action at all.

He's a great grappler. Terrible boxer though.

 

Molina actually fought and beat top 154 fighters, Canelo is a few levels behind.

Molina has a very ugly style, I agree, but you know damn well you'd be sucking major Molina balls if he was a black figher!
