Alvarado is jabbing and building combos off the jab on the frontfoot. Sanchez is landing hooks as he backs up to & sits on the ropes, but Alvarado is landing hooks on the body as well. Right hands dropped in behind the jab by Alvarado. Sanchez is holding up the goalposts as he is knocked into the ropes by hard jabs and then casting off body flurries.

Alvarado is throwing uppercuts with both hands, driving Sanchez across the ring, walking through his soft jabs. Left hook by Alvarado, doubled from head to body. Sanchez scores a left hook downstairs getting off the ropes. Alvarado has dispensed with the jab and is now working body uppercuts and chops up top, giving Sanchez no breathing room on the ropes. Alvarado is working left and right uppercuts on the head and starts to penetrate the guard with a 1-2. Sanchez is skipping away. 1-2 on the face, left hook on the body by Alvarado. Sanchez sits deeply on the bottom rope, knee almost touching the canvas. Left and right curved into the body by Sanchez, desperately fighting off the ropes.

Sanchez desperately flurries off the ropes after repeatedly getting put there, Alvarado cutting the ring off without sacrificing distance. Double jab and right cross on the face by Alvarado, leather bouncing and snapping the neck of Sanchez back. Alvarado is caught on the way in by a couple of big left and right hooks on the body. Alvarado throws some light rope-winding uppercut combos at the chin of Sanchez, keeping him on the ropes.

Alvarado is jabbing, turning in, closing ranks with his arms crossed to block Sanchez's jab, and countering with hooks using his turning motion and bent knee for extra snap. Right hand up top by Alvarado, putting Sanchez in a corner. Nonstop combination punching by Alvarado, light but accumulating. Sanchez blinks, falling back, and throws big hooks with both hands, missing or glancing off Alvarado's chin as he dips and rolls while firing.
