Like Ronny Rios last night. Bundrage was given roughly as much chance as Castellanos, actually. :think

Rated a 3 star fight on Boxrec so could be worth watching.

Before losing to Rocky Juarez (who somehow managed to relight the fire in his belly) in May, Alvarado was coming off a KO victory in February over sometimes very good journeyman Robin Hood Castellanos...who last night upset the unbeaten Ronny Rios in the FS1 main event.

They already look more impressive than Buttsniff and Blowlina

    Round 1

Alvarado is jabbing and tracking left, dancing away from Sanchez's chipping jab. Counter left hook on the neck by Sanchez as Alvarado leans over. Alvarado maintains distance and works the jab, countering when Sanchez tries stepping in with the 1-2.

    10-9 Alvarado

I think giving up 28lbs, Alvarado could beat Molina tonight.

If Boxrec give any fight under 147 more than 2 stars it's usually between two fringe contenders. Their systwm really doesn't like lower weights.

    Round 2

Alvarado is jabbing and then holding the left arm out straight, using it to spin the punches of Sanchez away. Alvarado is fencing on the outside, using his jab nearly exclusively, changing it from head to body, keeping Sanchez outside. Alvarado walks Sanchez into a corner and drops a right hand on the head lightly to keep him moving in the desired direction. Nice left hook on the hip by Alvarado as Sanchez circles on the ropes. Big wrecking ball body combo by Sanchez but Alvarado steps out smoothly.

    10-9 Alvarado

    20-18 Alvarado

If he wants to make a statement and get back on the path to contention, Alvarado needs to do more than just outclass Sanchez but stop him - as eight of the eleven men to have beaten him did.

    Round 3

Alvarado is walking Sanchez back with the stiff left jab, fully extending and retracting it even when doubling up, good form. Uppercut on the belly by Alvarado. Sanchez circles to his left, bends over to his right, and pokes a few body jabs. Sanchez backs nearly into a corner. Sanchez blocks a right hand with both gloves and then paddles down with a flurry. Alvarado drops back. High hard left jab by Alvarado. Body shots traded. Alvarado jabs and makes Sanchez duck, tapping the body lightly.

    10-9 Alvarado

    30-27 Alvarado
