I've only seen short clips of him but never a full fight, what is he like?

    What's his style of fighting?
    What are his best attributes?

I'm interested as I see his results - pushed Chavez jr and Alvarado early in his career, more recently beat Cintron, Danny Perez and drew with Lara, whilst also seeing he is ranked highly by the Ring.

It seems to me people are sleeping on Kirkland-Molina, this seems to be a competitive fight between two top level fighters, any thoughts on how it will pan out?

Molina is very intelligent resilient fighter that likes to get on the inside with good defense and to smoother his opponents in there. He outclassed Cintron, gave Lara hell ( the same Lara that everyone ducks now) and I haven't watched the fights with JCC Jr but apparently he won at least on of them. He is a very live under dog tomorrow. His style is reminiscent of Ward styles with Molina obviously being the less talented fighter

He is a Feather Fisted grinder, that is why Kirkland's team picked him. Even so, Kirkland's Chin is bad enough that Molina actually could flatten him. If this happens, Kirkland will probably cement his #1 position in the Glass Jaw Rankings for a LONG time to come.

Molina comes forward picking off punches and behind a decent jab. He likes to mix it up and is highly underrated by the general boxing community. A couple of his losses are dubious at best.

This will be a damn good fight. Molina's straighter punches will find Kirkland, but he's going to have to go into Kirkland's punching range to do damage.

yeah with some consideration he has beaten Lara, JCC Jr and Cintron which is a pretty impressive resume

Where is your next broadcast? As I predicted Macklin chin was tested, don't think it's glass however. You are more versed on this issue so perhaps you can opine. I assumed this Kirkland fight, weekend in General considering Tye Fields is fighting is a good weekend to do a glass chin expose.

I do not agree with your assessment of Mr. Kirkland's chin. It's solid but not that solid, still in my most humble opinion Roid Jones has true Glass. I was in fear for his health when Glenn Johnson hit him.

I would agree, Macklin's Chin is not the typical British-issue Glass, but he is no Iron-Chinned Warrior, either. His Chin is average, at best. In the span of about a month we have notable Glass Jaws Fields, Kirkland, Judah, Paris, Adamek, and Alvarez fighting, so I am holding off on collecting and publishing the latest Official Chincheckers Glass Jaw Rankings until we have those results in.

Molina though his power is below average was able to scare Cintron.

How is Alvarez glass-jawed? Has he been down yet? Or even hurt?

The argument can be made that it was because he was weight depleted he has not been hurt since

    Thank's for the responses gents.

Sounds to me like the fight could be a phone-booth style war of attrition. Molina's never been knocked out, so he must have a reasonable chin given the class he has mixed in. Given he comes forward and works inside, and Kirkland's all-out aggression, its a fight I'm looking forward to...

That is the most cliche and overused excuse for a Glass Jaw on this forum. Was he also weight-drained against Cintron who cannot punch his way out of a paper sack at 154 and still managed to buzz him pretty good? Glass Jaws Exist in Boxing. Alvarez has one.
