Carlos Monzon killed his girlfriend by pushing her out the window?

Monzon was a great fighter but a terrible human being.

 

He became angry when she said she scored the first Briscoe fight in favour of Bad Bennie.

 

He mistook her in the heat of the moment for Nino Benvenuti I guess.

 

Unlike say the Tyson Washington thing, There is pretty strong facts that Monzon did it.

 

The man was a complete nutter.

 

It isn't even up for debate. The man was insane. It makes it even more amazing to see how cool, composed and unruffled he was in the ring.

 

He was two different people, I'm convinced...cool, calm and detached and always in control in the ring, no emotions...and a raging beast outside the ring.

 

But I see boxing fans ALWAYS defend there guy, no matter what.

I mean I know a lot of people that try to make it seem the ear bites in some way was Holyfileds, or even if Tyson did or not **** Washtington, but just assume she did, try to play it off like its her fault.

I am kinda of shock no one called Monzon's girlfreind a golddigger or it was her fault.

 

Yep. "Me and my temper" he was heard to say at the trial. Sad. :-(
Great story though, I'm endlessly fascinated by the events of his life, moreso than any other fighter.

 

I think we need a Monzon movie. Any suggestions for the role? I got Javier Bardem from No Country for Old Men.
