A lot of the recent mythical fights posted on here are pathetic wastes of space with absolutely no effort put into the original post.Or just an excuse to frenziedly fellate a favourite fighter. I'm a big fan of both these fighters but c'mon. And the last thing we need is another repetitive Monzon jerkfest. People should post fights that are worth debating or at least phrase their inquiry with a bit of effort worth a reply.
Your thread was pish. I mean did you sit and think to yourself "i fancy getting a good debate going on classic today....maybe an interesting hypothetical between two fighters that present an intriguing stylistic clash where a multitude of varied points could be put across in favour of both...aye, that'll be a good thead" Then you get to the PC , you fire up ESB and you see a multitude of Monzon matchups over the last few pages that seem unbalanced pisstakes and a surefire win for him(probably motivated by the inept pro-terry norris ramblings of red rooster)-regardless of how competitive or entertaining they might be for a while. So having most likely seen this, the fight you come up with to present to the forum is...Monzon vs Ayub Kalule. No effort in the original post, nothing.Just sitting there. You sicken me.
This fight might seem like a joke to some but seriously, how many Ali-Marciano threads do we need? There are just so many combinations you can use. Kalule wasn't a stiff and would likely last 7-8 rounds and give a little trouble to Monzon before succumbing. Not such a bad fight.
Well, I saw both fighters live and saw them train, perform against sparringpartners. Kalule was very ackward and he would´ve have given Monzon lots of trouble.
