Monzon throws Hopkins from the balcony, Bernard then argues with the referee that he actually died on the fall, but the referee believes he's faking it. Fight's ruled a No Contest (and then Monzon goes to prison). The end.
It's BS, Nard threw himself off the balcony and paid doctors off to pronounce him dead, when he was in fact faking it, Monzon's innocent damn it
Monzon. Hopkins is in with a good chance but Monzon is one of those guys who could always up when he had to. Never seen the same from Bernard (at least not against the same class of opposition Monzon did). I´m a fan of Hopkins though, much more than King Carlos.
Monzon in a close decision. Hopkins was greatest at MW, but I don't actually think its his best class. In certain fights he struggled to turn it up late, and kept a very measured pace. Tito Hopkins broke a lot of his later age norms(Its the end of the young Hopkins era and the beginning of the old Hopkins era), and would be in with a terrific chance to beat Carlos. He was just more skilled, and in this particular middleweight performance, showed the perfect mix and aggression and precision. Most other MW versions of Hopkins don't do enough to win. Against an opponent as formidable as Monzon, he'd wait far longer than he'd need to be waiting, and probably get outworked and outpunched by a stretch of 2 or 3 rounds, waiting for the perfect opportunities to score. He'd score, and score huge, and win some rounds big, but I just can't envision him doing it enough to win a decision unless he is in quite literally peak form.
Monzon much stronger at 160,B-Hop makes it ugly but Monzon keeps the pressure for the win or late round TKO,if its a 15 rounder providing B-Hop does not fake a foul to get rest
