These fantasy fights are just guesswork, but I voted for Monzon because in fairness, Burley was not as good for as long, with a record speckled with losses, while Monzon had what I think was the most dominant reign in middleweight history. It also justs strikes me as unlikely that competition peaked, or was even at normal level, during the WWII era when millions of young men in most of the active boxing countries were in military service.
