Anyone care to give me a detailed, stylistic breakdown on how you think this one would pan out?
Not interested in just an opinion...I want a breakdown of their tactical strengths and weaknesses against each other.

Well Monzon would take i, i don't know how easy it would be, there are many a sceptic of Cerdan in these here parts, but im not one of them. The thoughts are provoked by thouse who question his resume, but when we talk about these h2h instances i dont soubt his ability personally. Its hard to say wether the style matchup for Marcel would be good or bad, he's oming right at Monzon, sweeping uppercuts are going to hurt him bad, but Cerdan was fast and brought so much ferocity, though it's hard to imagine someone getting inside on Monzon and sustaining a good pace. Unimaginable to be honest. Ultimately, Cerdan is in range for a Monzon who can dictate the pace, but only after knocking some resilience out of his man imo. I wont say stoppage, but Monzon for me.

I would like to know if anyone thinks that Cerdan's strength would be a good asset here, meaning in conjunction with that style of his. I know some people knock King Carlos for a lot of the very greatest of his opponents being larger men, or try to...

Well Cerdan was a natural Welter as well.Almost certainly not stronger than Monzon.

No i didnt mean he was stronger than Monzon, i was just asking if anyone thought his genuine strength (he was very strong) gives him something here. But i didnt know he was a natural welter. I didnt think he did have an advantage there myself, just asking if any1 more knowledgable of the man thought he did. Just for some insight that's all. What would have been his best weigh then Mantequilla? Was he fighting naturally larger men?

Cerdan was still a pretty strong guy as a middle no doubt, but he fought at Welter for years, only moving up for good as he got older and came to America near the end of his career.
