Carlos Monzon vs. Mickey Walker

    BD, Bravo, you said it all ! Monzon would be catnip for Mickey Walker.
    Monzon was a relatively slow methodical puncher, while the Faster
    Mickey Walker who annihilated Tommy Milligan in London, would get inside and beat to the punch constantly...Just look at what Walker did,with larger and slower men.He beat Jack ,Sharkey and the bullish Paolino Uzcudun,two tough heavyweights,and whipped one guy that was a
    tremendous punching 175 pounder by the name of Paul Berlenbach, who would have destroyed Monzon. Monzon could never tackle those three guys..Walker did. Harry Greb , because of his uncanny speed ,hand and foot was another story for Mickey. Greb was another story for anyone...
    Walker feasted on men slower than himself...:good:good

    Haha, I love it.

    And this is almost a 50/50 to me, I think maybe Monzon by close UD.

    Monzon cooly decisions Walker...no middleweight of history beats Monzon..in my humble opinion.

    Walker brings a hell of a lot of pressure, but Monzon's style is wrong for him. King Monzon by close but clear UD.
