After dishing out a deceptively one-sided beating, Monzon closes the show, forcing a mercy stoppage of Canelo, in the latter stages of the bout.
Monzon stops him in 6.. He had the leverage to land his punch where GGG was about strength and taking over. Canelo is being a bit overrated. He has a great resume.
A stroll in the park it might not be, but I wouldn't expect it to take much more than a brisk walk, on the part of Monzon.
If Canelo has the promoters and judges in his corner, Canelo via SD or Draw. Monzon didn't hit hard enough to take Canelo out with one or two big shots. Canelo has good defense, better hand speed, and is a master counter guy. Unlike Monzon, he jumped up in class. This would be fight.
He literally beat a better version of Canelo handedly in his last fight. There's no case for Canelo winning this aside from "ugh ugh *wanks* Modern is better"
